The video essay accompanied with a small publication aims to confront the Soviet propaganda around labour and unravel the reality of the labour camps during Soviet rule in Bulgaria.
The archival videos juxtapose the propaganda with the reality while the visual identity of the project uses the speed as a main element to expose the control over the quantity of work in the factories.
